We've been friends for years, but it wasn't until we each were having our third child that we became obsessed with cloth diapering! A natural partnership was born to let us share our passion for cloth diapering while still having time for our main passion ~ our children.
Tammy: I am a stay at home mom to 4 children, 3 boys and a little girl! I've cloth diapered all of them in one way or another. With my first 2 I used a basic diaper and cover system, and while it worked well at the time, I was unaware of all the recent improvements in cloth diapering systems. I did not have internet access, and thought the only cloth diapering supplies available were those in the baby stores and the one cloth diapering catalog I found. With my youngest son, I finally had internet access and found so much information on diapers it was overwhelming! I tried out many new things before settling on a system that works perfectly for us. We now cloth diaper full time, and only use disposables occasionally on vacation and camping trips. At home we use prefolds and covers and for outings and overnight we love our pockets! We've dabbled in fitteds and AIOs and recently acquired our first wool soaker, but overall we like to keep our everyday diaper routine fairly simple. Now that we've added a daughter to the mix, I've found I needed to experiment a bit with my tried-and-true folding techniques and how I stuff our pockets to get the best protection for a different wetting pattern. Our one-size pockets and AIOs have come in very handy now that we have 2 in diapers again!
Carol Ann: I am a stay at home mom to 3 girls. I am new to the cloth diapering experience, and have been using them since my youngest daughter was only a few days old. I would have cloth diapered the first 2 if had known how great the diapers were! I had never heard of the cloth diapers being used nowadays, until I saw Tammy's youngest son in one. I asked her about it, and have been hooked ever since. I spent a lot of time on the internet researching cloth diapers and finally found what works for us. I bought several different products to try. I use prefolds and covers when I am at home and pocket diapers for bedtime and when I am out. My husband prefers using pockets because they go on most like a disposable. Since I spent so much time researching cloth diapers I wanted to design a website that offered one stop shopping. That is how Time to Change the Diapers was born! Cloth diapers are my passion!
November 2008 brings new changes to our little company! We welcome Heather Holt into the Time to Change the Diapers family.
